This year, only 4% of companies registered came from Chile. All finalists were highly voted for, with the differences between votes standing at only a fraction of points. Not one of the start-ups was directly competing with each other. In the coming year, we can expect to award companies according to their area of expertise”, comments Sandra Sinicco, the creator behind the award and a partner of Latamtech UK, a London-based company composed of 4 business partners focusing on supporting scale-ups looking to expand to the United Kingdom. At the end of the event, Sandra Sinicco announced that registrations for the upcoming Brazil Tech Awards, taking place in November this year, are now open. The event will take place at the São Paulo Tech Week, and will focus on European scale-ups looking to expand to Brazil. The award-winning company will have all the support required for a soft landing in São Paulo, which will be their base-city in their process of expansion to Latin America. |
