The Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (MexCC) will be having its fourth edition of its Business Outlook, keeping its members and those from the business community and entrepreneurs informed on the developments in Mexico. In this occasion, 5 panels of experts will discuss the status of the energy reform and bilateral opportunities for Mexican and British companies, covering the oil and gas reform and round one, the implementation of the electricity reform, and what to expect in the renewables sector.

9:00  Welcome Remarks: Yves Hayaux du Tilly, Chairman of the MexCC

9:10 - 9: 25 Introduction: Rodrigo Aguilera of The Economist Intelligence Unit will give a keynote presentation on the Mexican Economy, expectations and outlook for 2016, effects that status of the world economy and current developments may have in Mexico’s economy and the perceived effects of the structural reforms in the Mexican economy.

9:25 - 10:30 Panel 1. Private Equity Roundtable.
The Private Equity roundtable will discuss the current state of affairs of the Mexican private equity industry in Mexico, projects pipeline and target industries and sectors, and identify steps to be taken as well as challenges and opportunities to reinvigorate flows from London into Mexico.

10:45 - 11:30 The Mexico City International Airport
A keynote presentation on Mexico City’s New International Airport and the experiences arising from the collaboration with Foster + Partners.

11:45- 13:00 Panel 2. Infrastructure Roundtable
The Infrastructure roundtable will discuss the current state of affairs of infrastructure projects such as Mexico City’s New International Airport, highlighting UK-Mexico collaboration and identify opportunities and challenges ahead.

Not much has been talked on the renewable sector around this Energy Reform, What are leaders doing in Mexico, what is the expectations and where does Mexico need to Focus in order to fulfil its goals on gas emission, Where are the investment opportunities and what challenges lie ahead?           

18:00- 18:30 Mexico’s Energy Reform.
Jesus Reyes-Heroles of EnerGEA will give a keynote presentation on Mexico’s energy reform, the framework and manner in which private investment will participate, area of opportunities and potential synergies for UK businesses.

18:30 - 19:00: Closing Remarks.
