After an unprecedented election, incoming president Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) is set to take office on 1 December 2018, supported by a majority of his party in the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.

Join us as we analyse how AMLO’s nationalist rhetoric will translate to his economic, social, energy and security policy. We will take a look at AMLO’s first 100 days and the campaign promises he will seek to fulfill at the beginning of his administration, especially amidst investor’s increasing uncertainty regarding AMLO’s fiscal and energy policy.

Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain Members: Verisk Maplecroft Principal Mexico Analyst Christian Wagner, and Americas research Jimena Blanco and Juan Pablo Sainz, associate at Nader Hayaux and Goebel speaker (TBD) will discuss the risks and opportunities arising from political transitions in Mexico.
