MEXCC's FAMOUS LAST TUESDAY DRINKS OF THE MONTH
Last Tuesday Drinks of June
When: 28 June 2016
Venue: 3-7 Delancey Street, Camden, London NW1 7NL.
Time: 18:45- 21:00 hrs
Dear All,
We are delighted to invite you to our casual monthly networking meeting on Tuesday 28th of June!
On this occasion we will do something different and bring support to Mexican Talent Artist Eusebio Sanchez launch his debut album ‘Xilitla’.
Inspired by the Mexican area of Las Pozas, a subtropical ‘Garden of Eden’ designed by the English artist and eccentric Edward James, ‘Xilitla’ has been curated to merge the musical worlds of Mexico and UK through recorded performances of existing and new works featuring Sanchez and a number of guest artists.
Included in the album will be commissions from Oliver Christophe Leith, Sanchez’ own arrangements of Mexican traditional melodies, John Dowland and Manuel M Parec, and staples of the marimba repertoire from Hilda Paredes and Sandunga.
Eusebio Sanchez, from Monterrey Nuevo Leon, is the first recipient of the City Music Foundation’s International Scholarship Programme, which intends to afford non-UK-based artists the opportunity to take part in an innovative and exciting artist programme. In partnership with the Anglo Mexican Foundation.
The MexCC invites you to join us from 18:45 hrs at THE FORGE - 3-7 Delancey Street, Camden, London NW1 7NL. (the launch wil start at 19:00hrs)
We look forward to seeing you there!
