Fundación Kristen (FK) es una organización no gubernamental con sede en México que contribuye a reducir la mortalidad infantil causada por malformaciones congénitas letales y la desigualdad social a través de su modelo incluyente de medicina fetal.
Join Soprano Zayra Ruiz, pianist Antonina Suhanova, Michelin-Starred Chef Omar Romero for an evening in favor of Fundación Kristen A.C and its Fetal Surgery Program. The concert will be followed by a silent auction of the work of artist Elvira Pyrkova and designer Marcela Shirazi. Elvira Pyrkova is an artist, costume designer and portraitist whose paintings are part of private collections in France, Russia, Mexico, Canada, the United States and Great Britain, as are commissioned portraits of select collectors.
All the funds will be donated to the Kristen Foundation (FK) , a nongovernmental organization based in Mexico that contributes to reduce infant mortality caused by lethal congenital malformations and social inequality through its inclusive model of fetal medicine. Their efforts to provide free fetal surgeries have contributed to reduce the inequality gap, allowing families to have access to the most innovative and last avant-garde medical procedures in the world, regardless of their nationality or socioeconomic status.
Before 2012, most of the babies with congenital malformations in Latin America did not have the opportunity to live. Recognizing the need of providing with fetal medicine in the region, the Kristen Foundation was born of the shared desire of Lic. Jackeline Verdín and Dr. Rogelio Cruz for contributing in a significant way to this problem. Since then non-profit organization with a comprehensive model that preserves life contributing to the decline of the Latin American mortality rate in unborn babies with lethal congenital malformations.
